Zora Race/Species Names

Name: Zora

Species: Nemsar

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Pansexual

Relationship: Pidge! The green paladin has a real calming effect over Zora, letting the girl be herself. She is often content with just watch Pidge fiddle with her tech, watching her with admiration.

Personality: Zora is brash and reckless, running into fights head first with unwavering confidence in her abilities. Outside of battle her personality alternates depending on the people around her. An authority figure will make her act stubbornly. For the sake of others, she will set aside her stubbornness, but will be wary of trusting them. If she’s surrounded by friends and those she deems trustworthy she’ll act more soft hearted, smiling, laughing, joking, overall just being a pleasant person to be around.

Zora is also fierce and protective of her friends, and is more than willing to go to any lengths necessary to protect them.

Bio: Zora has been living on the run all her life from the Galra Empire, just barley getting by and struggling to survive she has made and lost many friends along the way. This molded her into the warrior she is today, doing anything to survive. Learning to harness the powers of her species into a weapon she mastered her rage and turned herself into a living weapon of mass destruction.

After being forced to ‘grow up’ too fast, Zora doesn’t stay in one place for too long, smuggling herself from planet to planet to keep herself alive she makes her camp far from civilization to ensure that no Galra or locals can find her.

 

The Nemsar

Bio: The Nemsar are a peaceful people, whom are mainly traders, farmers or tailors. They span over many planets and are said to originate from the planet of Nemsana, a lush green planet with sparkling oceans and an abundance of natural resources.

Appearance: The Nemsar are humanoids beings with pointed butterfly like ears, theses ears move depending on the species emotions, and feet with only two large but flexible toes. Their defining features are the circular markings on their bodies. These patterns are unique to each Nemsar and act like human fingerprints. The patterns come in a variety of colors.

The eyes of a Nemsar can come from all colors of the spectrum, the corneas of their eyes are always a paler shade of the Iris.

The average Nemsar body is usually muscular due to intensive physical labor however like humans their bodies vary from person to person.

Abilities: Nemsar have the ability to absorb the nearby life force or quintessence of the world and even people, the absorbed energy will manifest into telekinetic forces.

Religion: The Nemsar worship no gods, they do however feel a deep connection to nature and its life force. This is why many Nemsar choose to work in an agricultural setting, so they can feel as if they are giving back to nature as a form of equal trade.

When a Nemsar dies, their bodies are burned and their ashes given to the wind so that they may become one with natures cycle.

Status: Conquered by the Galra, harnessed for their powers.

Other: Nemsar use mono names, so they do not take middle or last names.
