Slowly Breaking-Adommy pt1I approached Adam like I always did but this time he noticed the slight urgency in my actions, his eyes were fixed on me within seconds and I could practically feel the worry washing off of him and onto me; it was a slightly nauseating feel but I managed to stomach down the dread of what he would say as I mentally prepared myself for what I was about to say.
"Adam," I started and Monte and Longinue, even Lisa, stopped doing what they had been doing and looked to me with expectant, worried, looks. I gulped, continuing on, "Adam.. I-I need to tell you this, uh, somewhere private."
I watched as he turned and gave the three other band members a meaningful look and without either of us saying anything Longineu, Lisa and Monte all stood and existed the room. Adam turned back to me, taking my hands (for I was shaking) and blinking slowly before pulling me close against him. I clung to his chest as he bowed his head and kissed me on the cheek, encouraging me to speak. I took a breath then star
Adommy Kitty-Cat Ch. 1 (Adam's POV)
I was beginning to awake from a well needed rest with the sound of a glass shattering. I got up and immediately went to the source of the sound. I saw Tommy in my kitchen starting to clean up a broken mug and spilled coffee. He looked up at me and smiled innocently. "Umm.. Hi Adam!" He said sweetly, when i noticed two fuzzy black cat ears poking between his hair and a long black tail coming from his back side. "Tommy, what the hell do you have on your head?" I asked, still tired and not in the mood to deal with this ongoing trainwreck yet. "I'm a kitty cat! See!?", he said pointing to his cat ears. I sighed. "Tommy, I'm going to take a shower. Ok? I'll be back." I said hoping to become fully awakened by a shower. He just nodded, smiling.
When I got out of the shower and got ready, I re-entered the kitchen hoping to
Adommy."Get the fuck away from him!" Adam yelled. "Or what, homo? You'll sing me to death? Ha." The masked man dug into his pockets, to find a blade. A dangerous grin spread across his face. "Perfect." He said as the sun gleamed off the blade. He waved the blade in front of Tommy's face. "Whataya say? Shall we try out the blade? See how sharp it is?" Tommy whimpered through the duct tape across his mouth. "GET AWAY FROM HIM." Adam shouted. The man turned and slashed a cut into Adam's cheek. "Fuck off homo." He turned back to Tommy, who was staring at Adam. Tears were welling in his eyes, each tear whispering their own 'I Love You's.' The man groaned, made a comment along the lines of "Disgusting Homo Love" and stuck the Knife into the blonde's chest. Tommy's eyes bugged out, and then slowly closed.
"NO!" Adam awoke, gasping for breath, taking in his surroundings. "Adam? Are you okay?" Adam looked down at a peaceful Tommy laying next to him. He released a deep breath, and cupp
SweepAs soon as he stepped into the open field, he slung the minesweeper from his shoulder and pointed its nose to the ground. It was old, worn and heavy, and old and rough, calloused and breaking, and old. The metal between his hands was cold and chilled his fingers. If he was not careful he could step on the very mines he was trying to find. They would have to pick up the pieces of his body and to send the tags home where his wife would cry and hold his son and daughter close with nothing to show them of their father but a piece of metal engraved with "Ajeet Singh".
One sweep, than another.
This war had taught him to never trust open spaces. Open spaces were where the mines were planted, where Prets lay in wait. France was green and damp just like the uniform he wore. It had been days since he was separated from his unit, and now the Allies were breathing on his neck, searching for POW’s, searching for the enemy of which he was one. &
